DVLA Paper Licences (Green or Pink) are still valid as before but are not subject to the following rules:

DVLA Driver Licence Checks (Photocard Licences only)

As of July 2015 what was known as the DVLA “Counterpart” is no longer legal or valid and cannot be produced as proof of “No Convictions”.

For any rider attending training they are required to provide a copy of their DVLA licence (In addition to the Photocard Licence). Please follow the instructions below to comply.

This is a cost free service.

Please remember any DVLA Code obtained is single use only and is only valid for 21 days, more than one code can be authorised at any one time.

The following process is required to produce in essence what is the old paper counterpart;

Google – www.gov.uk

Search “Driving & Transport

Select – Driving Licences

Select – View or Share your Driving Licence Information

Select – START (A highlighted Green Box)

You then need to have to and the following details to input:

Your DVLA Driver Licence Number

Your National Insurance Number (NI)

Your Postcode in full

Once those details are entered you may view your own driver licence details.

You may request a Code that will be issued to you electronically at the time.

If Eden Pro Rider Training is required to print off a copy of your DVLA Licence then we will require the applicant or member to provide us with a Code and the last 8 characters of their DVLA Driver Licence and we can then examine the licence for convictions etc. Again the Code must reach me less than 21 days from its date of issue for us to complete the process.
