crsp-logoThere is no age limit under the scheme, so the inexperienced rider looking to improve their skill level, increase observation and hazard perception or simply wanting to move up to a larger capacity motorcycle can do so under this scheme.

For those mature riders or “born again bikers” this is an ideal scheme to refresh those essential riding skills and life saving essentials to bring them up to date under the supervision of a DVSA Registered Instructor.

Any rider can opt to have their riding skills assessed and evaluated; it is cool and may save your life, there are many tips to learn on the day, none of us ever stop learning.

The Enhanced Rider Scheme is designed to take motorcyclist skills a step further with an approved post test rider scheme delivered by instructors registered with the DVSA. This is a 4 hour instructional session of on road development training. We have completed many courses with excellent results. Those riders participating in the scheme have learnt many new skills coupled with an enjoyable days training on a motorcycle.

This scheme is flexible; funding can be used in conjunction with a ROSPA Advanced Motorcycle Course or opt for IAM.

These courses aim to provide the rider with a safe and systematic approach to motorcycling. Training at this level is demands concentration and a willingness to learn both theory and practically on the road. The advanced courses are spread over 2 full days of riding, followed by the advanced test. Advanced courses are subject to independent examination by RoSPA or IAM examiners. All passes will gain a certificate of achievement.

This is an opportunity for bikers to improve their riding standards, helping to make them safer on the roads.
